Hi, I ran into your blog while doing a search on John Holtz. I feel your pain, that's all I can say. Do you think Holtz's 1-day PT course would be beneficial at all?
ReplyDeleteI felt that he did a good job of picking apart the PT and showing us what the graders are looking for and where to pick up points. The major critique of his approach (largely gleaned from JDJive) is that his system is overly complex. In some ways it is, but I appreciated the fact that I didn't come out of the class feeling like I’d just sat through a three day infomercial. He wasn’t overly dogmatic about the approach and stressed that we should adapt it to suit our needs. I can only speak for the 3-day, but if you’re worried about the PT, then I would definitely consider it. Let me know if you do go, I’m curious to hear what you think. Good luck.
